Yes. We can work with your existing Power BI environment, whether that's building new reports, cleaning up an existing data model, improving performance on slow reports, or training your team on what's already there. You don't need to start over.
What data sources can you connect to Power BI?
Power BI connects to an enormous range of sources natively. For sources that don't have a native connector, or where you need more control over the data transformation, we build ETL pipelines that stage the data into SQL Server first and connect from there. We've pulled data from REST APIs, CRM systems, support platforms, SaaS products, and flat files.
How do you handle data that's sensitive or subject to compliance requirements?
Carefully. In regulated environments, we design the data pipeline with compliance in mind from the start, including how data is staged, who can access it, what gets deidentified or aggregated before it reaches a reporting layer, and how the whole system is documented for auditors. This isn't something we bolt on at the end.
Can you automate a report we currently run manually every month?

Do we need Power BI specifically, or can you work with other tools?
Power BI is our primary tool for standalone dashboard and reporting work, and it's the right choice for most Microsoft-ecosystem organizations. For reporting embedded inside custom applications, we build directly in the application stack rather than relying on a separate BI tool. What's the difference between this and your Data Engineering service?
Reporting and Dashboards is about the output: what decision-makers see, how data from different systems gets combined, and how reports get delivered. Data Engineering is about the infrastructure underneath: SQL schema design, stored procedure development, query optimization, and database performance. The two overlap, and we often do both on the same engagement, but they attract different problems. If your database is slow and your queries are painful, start with Data Engineering.
